This group has a bit of a broad remit, but mainly will focus on three areas:
1.Coordinate between the different zone-sub groups. As all groups will get busier in the next few months, the OAC group will help the process run smoothly by coordinating finance, general communication, publicity and help zone groups with practicalities where needed.
2.Contacting, speaking to and inviting groups, projects, individuals, local authorities and businesses to the launch of Hebden Bridge Transition Town and beyond.
3.Planning for post-launch. The Transition zone only marks the beginning of a long term commitment to create and carry out an energy decent plan (towards a Zero Carbon town) for Hebden Bridge. The OAC group will start organising some of the post-launch events and practically help Hebden Bridge's low carbon future become reality.
